Absolutely! We can embroider or engrave text on your glove to personalize it. Embroidery happens before the glove is assembled, so allow 4-6 weeks for production. Engraving happens post production and therefore has a shorter lead-time.
There are many of schools of thought on this. The best method for breaking in your glove is playing catch over a long period of time. For a quicker break in, use a glove mallet or small (baseball sized) dumbbell to form the pocket. We discourage the use of cooking oils, most glove oils, microwaves or conventional ovens, or motor vehicles for breaking in your gloves.
With appropriate care, your JL Baseball glove should last you many seasons. After play, wipe down glove with a slightly damp dust cloth. Allow to dry, then store glove in a cool, dark place with a baseball in the pocket. Softball or larger ball is discouraged, as the pocket will take the form of that object over time.
